Albert Akpomudje, SAN

Albert Akpomudje, SAN is a distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a Life member of the Body of Benchers. He is an experienced and astute litigator and has successfully represented clients in different sectors of the economy in several contentious and landmark cases.

He attended Government College, Ughelli for his ‘O’ Level, 1973 and proceeded to Edo College for his ‘A’, 1977. He is a graduate of University of Lagos with LLB (Hons) IN 1980. Admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1981, he was counsel and later head of Chambers in the Law Firm of Chief M. O. Akpofure (SAN) & Co. 1982 – 1984 and later joined Dr. Mudiaga Odje (SAN) & Co. 1984 – 1995. He has acted as Counsel to Shell Petroleum Development Company, Nigerian National Petroleum Development Corporation, and Chevron Nigeria Ltd amongst others. He has served in various capacities both at the State and National level of the Nigerian Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of Nigeria and Member of several professional bodies. He became a Life Bencher on 29th March, 2007.
