2025 Call to Bar ceremonies

This is to notify all Members of the Body of Benchers of the Meeting of the Body preceding the Call to Bar ceremony scheduled to take place as follows:
Date: Monday, 7 July 2025
Venue: Body of Benchers Complex, No 12, Y.C. Maikyau Crescent, Institution and Research District,
FCC Phase III, behind Federal Medical Centre, Jabi District, Abuja.
Time: 11.00 am prompt

CALL TO BAR

All distinguished Benchers and Aspirants to the Bar should kindly note that the Call to Bar Ceremony for successful candidates at the November 2024 Bar Final Examination are scheduled to take place as follows:
Date: Tuesday, 8 to Thursday, 10 July 2025
Venue: Body of Benchers Complex, No. 12, Y.C. Maikyau Crescent, Institution and Research District,
FCC Phase III, behind Federal Medical Centre, Jabi District, Abuja.
Time: 11.00 am prompt.

Note that Aspirants will be identified with their Nigerian Law School ID card and are entitled to ONE GUEST ONLY, who shall be issued an Invitation Card prior to the date of Call.

All Aspirants are expected to register his/her guest on the Call to Bar portal. The portal link can be accessed at the Body of Benchers website: www.bob.gov.ng

Alternatively, Aspirants can scan the QR code to access the portal.

Kindly ensure timely compliance as this is a mandatory requirement for participation in the Call to Bar ceremonies.

Any aspirant found with a duplicate invitation card shall be penalised.

Aspirants and Parents/Guardians should note that there will be accreditation at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium commencing at 6:00 am and ending at 9:00 am on each day of the Call. Each aspirant and his or her guest will, upon being cleared, be conveyed to the venue of the Call in Buses designated for that purpose.

Note that only Aspirants and Parents/Guardians who have been duly cleared in line with the foregoing will be granted access to the Body of Benchers Complex, being the venue for the Call.

This event is strictly by invitation.
